Wednesday 19 August8.45 am - 3.00 pm Shirley Golf Club
As we move toward the end of the formal cluster association it is time to share and celebrate. This process allows principals to articulate what is happening in their schools as well as giving us a chance to learn from each other. Each principal will be allocated 15 minutes to present, with emphasis being on their learning model, their next steps and their aims/goals for 2010. A data projector will set up ready for laptops. Learning Model
Our major focus as a cluster this year has been to investigate inquiry and integrated learning models, and then restructure a model to suit our individual schools. To support this, the cluster has offered Perry Rush last year, Thinking and Learning Tours to the Wellington region and North Canterbury in terms one and two, and a day with Kath Murdoch on Tuesday 13 October 2009. At this Principal's Meeting, each principal will share their current learning model, explaining steps taken along the way.
Next Steps and aims/goals for 2010
As our cluster moves towards the end of our three year contract, sustainability becomes a focus. How do you envisage your school carrying on the journey that has been started as a result of Te Kete Atawhai Cluster? Each principal will share their next steps and aims and goals for 2010.
